Armoured Car, Cork (by National Library of Ireland on The Commons) We believe this is an armoured car in action in Cork City following the landing of National Army (Free State) troops during the Irish Civil War. Can’t quite make out the grafitti on the wall that urges Corkonians to “Join the …” or the letters on the car’s registration no. followed by either 137, 237, or 737?
