U.S. scientists have announced the first-ever discovery of a two-headed bull shark, confirming it was a single shark with two heads, not conjoined twins.

Chris and Monique Fallow, of Apex Shark Expeditions, captured images of this seal killing five roughly six-foot blue sharks, eating only their stomachs and livers.

Mr. Fallows suggested that maybe the seal was interested in the contents of the sharks’ stomachs, which presumably would have been squid and fish — a large part of the fur seal’s diet.

The diver said that he had seen a seal attack a shark during a previous dive off South Africa, but had never come across any other reports of such an event.
