…here’s the appropriate SUB-MARINER # 13 splash from 1969. Some Marvel artists did that innovative splash thing better than others. Here we have Marie Severin again, giving it a go with help from Joltin’ Joe Sinnott, certainly near the top of anyone’s list of great comic book inkers…
