The Mizzi plant was opened in 1960 and initially assembled Triumph Heralds. Soon after, production of Hillman Minxs was added. Later, Minis, 1100s, Marinas, and Toledos joined the lineup, and at one time over 50% of new vehicles sold in Malta came from this plant. The little badge pictured here was fitted to the cars assembled by Mizzi.”
