burlyqnell: Rosita Royce - The Dove Dancer: vintage 8x10 photo Rosita’s performance was called “The Dance of the Doves”. The doves would be released from the balcony of the theater and they were trained to fly down tot he stage and assist in the removal of the fine layers of Rosita’s costume.
