(via Modified Prosthetic Arm Incorporates Smartphone Dock | medgadget)
While prosthetic arms greatly improve their users’ lives, they still have some serious limitations. Trevor Prideaux, a UK man who was born without his left arm, found it difficult to use a smartphone with just one hand, so he worked with Nokia and a local prosthetic maker to develop a new prosthetic arm with a built-in holder for his smartphone.
The arm lets him easily operate the phone with his right hand, and he can answer calls by holding the prosthetic up to his ear.
